How to add facebook messenger chat window in your store?

Facebook messenger chat module allows you to embed a chat icon into your store and helps your shopper to communicate with you real time without leaving your store. Before you start the setup, you will need to whitelist your store domain in facebook page setting and collect page id. Follow the steps to complete these:

  1. Facebook chatbox requires your shop's domain to be whitelisted in your page. Follow the next steps carefully to complete your setup.
  2. Go to you facebook page About section and retrieve your Page ID.
  3. Now go to Settings > Messenger Platform and add your shop domain https:// into “Whitelisted domains” field and save.
  4. Insert your facebook page id in below settings and save. All set for live chatting with your shoppers from your facebook messenger.

App settings

The facebook chat widget can be activated and deactivated simply turning on/off a button from this settings. Turn the button on to activate the button in storefront.

Facebook page settings

Add your retrieved facebook page id here and save the settings. Facebook messenger widget in your storefront is ready. Send test messages and reply back from your facebook page inbox to make sure, everything is working fine.
